2016 Three Lions

Three Lions is a red Rhone style blend of 86% Mourvèdre,10% Syrah, and 4% Grenache, all grown locally in the Santa Clara Valley. Each varietal was fermented separately in small batches with extended maceration, punched down by hand, and aged sur lie with batonnage in new French oak. This vintage showcases the maturity of Mourvèdre with the grace of Grenache and the strength of Syrah.
